New morgage rules

Did you know that since January 1, 2018 the qualification standards of all conventional and insured loans have changed.
These changes affect all new loans and renewals, since the qualification rate is increased by 2% at the current rate.

Ex: a loan at the rate of 3.29% will be qualified with a rate of 5.29%
 
It would be better to have you qualify (not just pre-qualify) for your mortgage before any new purchase, because it's better for you to know in advance if your project is feasible.
